本展では、「無自覚の美」を湛えた花の姿を寄り添うように撮影した作品を展示します。

Noguchi’s photographs are always filled with his curiosity about the world, love and respect for life. They are not special, extraordinary scenes, but captures the preciousness of what is next to us.

In this exhibition he will present works full of “unconscious beauty” of flowers.

Artist Statement

庭に一本の深紅色のバラが咲いた。

誰かが植えたのだろう。

見せるためでも、名前のためでもなく、生命のまま咲く。

無自覚の美しさ。

人が生まれる時も同じだろうか。

無自覚の美は時経つうちに埋もれ、すっかり見えなくなった。

でもまだ咲いている。

生命在る限り、あの時咲いた花は咲き続ける。

that someone would had planted.

It blooms as life, not for showing or for its name.

Unconscious beauty.

Is it the same when a person is just born ?

The unconscious beauty is getting buried over time and disappears completely.

But it is still blooming.

As long as its life, the flower that bloomed at that time continues to bloom.
