Gallery Pictor 2022年プログラム《中心はどこにでもあり、多数ある》のソロ・エキシビション第１弾として、武田 哲《New Landscape》を2022年5月14日(土)～6月3日(金)に開催いたします。

武田は、遭遇する景色やモノや出来事をただ純粋に受け止めて、それをつなぎ合わせることで、「今」を映し出そうとします。近年制作に反映させてきた海からの漂流物が周囲から姿を消したことを感じ取り、違うものに取り組みたい、と作家は話しました。

何も「思い」を挟まず、「今」を集積させることで見えてきたものは、新しい時代の風景だと言います。本展は、武田哲の捉えた新たな地平を、ペインティング、ドローイング&コラージュ、立体作品などで構成します。

We are pleased to have Tetsu Takeda Solo Exhibition New Landscape from May 14, Saturday through June 3rd, Friday.

This exhibition is the part of Gallery Pictor’s 2022 year-round program.

Takeda simply observes the scenery, objects, and events he encounters, and by piecing them together, he attempts to reflect the present time.

The artist realized that the objects drifting from the sea, which he had reflected in his work in recent years, had disappeared from his surroundings. “So it’s time to work on something different,” he said.

What came into his view through the accumulation of “now” without any “thoughts” is the landscape of a new era.

This exhibition will feature paintings, drawings & collages, and three-dimensional works that show the new horizons captured by Tetsu Takeda.
